Itinerary Insights;

Day 1 to Day 3 – Shumba Camp, Kafue National Park.

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, meet and greet (Tours Africa) who will help the clients with their luggage and immigration formalities. Later clients will be on a charted flight connecting to Shumba Camp which is situated inside Kafue National Park.

Shumba is a luxurious and spacious camp with a very ‘African bush’ feel, it is situated in the very heart of the gorgeous Busanga Plains. You can enjoy views of the stunning floodplains throughout the camp. The lodge is built off the ground and well spread out, it blends in beautifully with its surroundings and you will often see wildlife around the lodge during the days.

The lounge area is very comfortable and the campfire is a great focal point. Sit around the open fire on the sunken deck with a drink of your choice and enjoy the sounds of the wild for miles around.

Day 3 – Charter flight from Shumba Camp to Lusaka International Airport

On this day being your last day at Shumba Camp, clients will be on a charter flight from Shumba Camp to Lusaka in time in order to connect to South Luangwa National Park for their 4-night stay at Mchenja Bush Camp.

Day 3 – Scheduled flight from Lusaka to South Luangwa National Park

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport on a charter flight from Kafue National Park, meet and greet and assist with luggage and checking in on the domestic flight to South Luangwa which will be 1hrs:10.

At Mfuwe International Airport clients will find their safari guide waiting for them and transfer them from the airport to Mchenja Bush camp.

Day 3 to Day 7 – Mchenja Bush Camp inside South Luangwa National Park

This which will be their home for all 4 nights exploring the south Luangwa National Park which has a high chance to see an aardvark.

A stylishly tented piece of heaven, Mchenja Camp is located in the game-heavy central region of the South Luangwa National Park. Nestled under huge ebony trees on the banks of a broad section of the Luangwa River, Mchenja has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with sweeping river views that will seduce even the most seasoned safari-goer.

Between the baboons chattering above you in the beautiful ebony branches, and the herds of elephants who like to pop into camp for a visit, you’ll stay entertained throughout your unforgettable time here. The beautiful central chitenje (lounge), built around a fallen ebony tree, is the perfect spot to share your sunrise coffee with other guests while you enjoy birds’ songs calling across the picturesque Luangwa River. Satisfy your palate with brunch in the shade of that charming lounge.

Day 7 – Flight from Mfuwe, South Luangwa to Lower Zambezi National via Lusaka

On this day being your last day in the South Luangwa National Park and depending on your local flight from Mfuwe to Lusaka, your safari guide will transfer you from Mchenja Bush Camp to Mfuwe airport for your flight back to Lusaka where you will connect to Lower Zambezi National Park.

Day 7 to Day 11 – Chiawa Camp in Lower Zambezi National Park

Upon arrival at JEK airstrip – you will find your safari guide waiting for you who will help you with luggage and later transfer you to Chiawa Camp which will be your home for all the 4 nights you will spend in the Lower Zambezi exploring the park and its beauty.

Upon arrival at Livingstone airport – you will find your driver waiting for you who will help you with your luggage and later transfer you to Victoria Falls Avani Resort for your 1 night waiting to connect to Chobe National Park in Botswana the following day.

During your day here you will have a chance to have an unlimited visit to Victoria Falls.

Day 11 to Day 12 – Victoria Falls Avani Resort

Stay in style in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for close encounters with Zambia’s amazing wildlife and incredible views of Victoria Falls.

On the morning of the 12th day of your time in Zambia, your driver picks you up from Victoria Falls Avani Resort to the Kazungula border they will also help you with all the border formalities then he will hand over you to your driver from Botswana. This marks the end of your trip to Zambia while the beauty of Botswana will be waiting for you.
