South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi and Livingstone (Luxury) Tour

This 14 days package combines wonderful views of the mighty Victoria Falls and the Kafue National Park in Zambia, is the best destination for serious game viewers.

The package is more focused on the Water based activities and the great Wildlife Sanctuaries of Zambia and you will get a chance to experience one of the best wildlife safaris on the African Continent.

This is the perfect safari package for wildlife safari enthusiasts and it is an itinerary that allows guests to see a lot of wildlife (animals and birds during your trip).

In this package, we combine the following tourist destination areas of Zambia;

  • 3 nights – Luangwa River Camp, South Luangwa National Park
  • 3 nights – Lion Camp, South Luangwa National Park
  • 3 nights – Potato Camp, Lower Zambezi National Park
  • 3 nights – Sussi and Chuma, Livingstone

Day 1 – Flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be met by our representative and assisted with baggage before being directed to the domestic check-in counters for your flight to Mfuwe in the South Luangwa, this flight will take just over an hour.

Days 1-4
Luangwa River Camp

The journey from the airport to Luangwa River Camp is about an hour. Set on the bend of the Luangwa River, Luangwa River camp will be your home for the next few days. This small camp offers seclusion in an otherwise busy central Mfuwe area. The rooms are stylishly designed and the pool overlooks the main river. While at Luangwa River Camp guests will experience cultural interactions with the locals at the school, clinics and villages. If requested, guests can also engage in a dinner with the head of Project Luangwa.

Days 4-7
Lion Camp

Your journey from Luangwa River Camp to Lion camp takes you up the river banks, where you will see some wonderful game on the drive. On arrival, you will realise that Lion Camp’s position is one its strongest features. It is set in the quiet northern sector of the park, away from other camps. Recently renovated, the camp shows off its accommodation with canvas walls and thatched roofs, each commanding great views of the flood plains. Game-viewing here is either done on foot or from open safari vehicles.

Days 7-10
Potato Bushcamp

When you leave South Luangwa, you will fly via Lusaka to the Lower Zambezi. Potato Bush Camp is set on the bank of the Zambezi River close to the western edge of the National Park and just a 35 minute road and boat transfer away from Jeki Airstrip where you will land. The camp is contemporary with its design, the rooms are built on raised plinths with canvas walls and large windows. The rooms are spacious, each with their own verandas and small plunge pools.

Days 10-13
Sussi & Chuma

Finally, your trip will finish in the home of the world famous Victoria Falls, Livingstone. After arriving at Livingstone airport, you will embark on a 35 minute road transfer to Sussi & Chuma. Built on a dramatic bend on the Zambezi River, just 12km upstream from Victoria Falls lies Sussi & Chuma. The camp comprises 12 elevated rooms connected by wooden walkways. The rooms are spacious, well designed, air-conditioned and all-round luxurious. The rooms have both a bath, as well as a shower. The large verandas are surrounded by bush – giving you a sense of privacy.

Day 13
A 35 minute road transfer will return you to Livingstone International Airport for your onward flight.

  • Visa fees for entry to Zambia.
