Chundukwa River Lodge
Chundukwa River is a small owner run lodge, located in a tranquil setting on the banks of the Zambezi River. We are just 36km upstream from the Victoria Falls. 5 open-fronted stilted chalets and 1 family cottage offer panoramic views across the river to Chundu Island and the Zambezi National Park. This stretch of the river is home to many Hippo, crocodile and a wide variety of birds. Chundukwa is home and sanctuary for both wild and domestic animals with our stable yard a mere 5 minutes walk from the lodge – guests are welcome to go out on a horse ride in the teak forests and along the river.
Day trips to visit the Falls & Livingstone, sunset river cruises, horse trails, village walks, game drives, white water rafting and all other activities in the area can be arranged.
