NANZHILA PLAINS CAMP
Nanzhila Plains is located in the southern section of Kafue National Park, Zambia. It is accessible via road from both Livingstone via Kalomo and Dundumwezi Gate (details below) or from Lusaka via Itezhi-Tezhi and Musa Gate (details below). The lodge also utilizes Ngoma air-strip which is serviced by a number of air charter companies based in Lusaka and Livingstone and is approx. a 2-hour game drive from the lodge.
Ideal safari destination - The closest true Zambian safari destination to Livingstone – a 3hr drive and you are in the park.
Remote wilderness - Nanzhila is only lodge in the Southern Kafue, meaning you have nearly 3000km² of pure wilderness to yourself
Animal diversity - Nanzhila offers staggering animal and bird diversity including 4 out of the Big 5 and a number of birding specials
Nanzhila Plains has 3 en-suite safari tents and 3 en-suite chalets complimented by a perfectly positioned main ‘insaka’ lodge complete with boma, fireplace, deck and bar!
