Horse Trails Tour

Enjoy the African bush veldt and the Zambezi River riding along the riverbanks on the back of a horse. Whether you are an experienced rider or a novice it is an enjoyable and peaceful way to see game and enjoy the birds and the ride. Animals are less disturbed by a person on a horse and it is quite possible to watch the game at very close quarters (sightings are not guaranteed). Experienced guides lead these trails and riders are put with friends or groups of similar riding abilities.

General Information:

Minimum 2 pax – maximum 8 pax

The minimum age is 12 years. There is no child rate

2 hours and half-day rides are available

Accommodates both novice and experienced riders

Excursion Includes:

Bottled water

Lunch is served at the stable (half-day trips only)

Riding hat

Return transfers from hotels within Livingstone

What You Need to Bring:

Camera

Hat/Cap, sunglasses

Sunscreen and mosquito repellent

Shoes that will not fall off

Dull-colored clothing is advised

Wear long trousers to avoid scratches from thorn trees and grass

Pick-up times from Hotel/ Lodge.

2-hour ride - flexible pick-up times depending on guide availability with the last pick up at 15h00

Half-day safari – pick up is at 08h00 returning at ±12h30 including lunch
