Victoria Falls River Safaris
This is a unique wildlife safari in “4 x 4 vehicles of the river” through the channels and rapids between the islands littering the wide part of the river just above the Falls. Elephant, hippo and wonderful birds are the main wildlife attractions and the views and sunsets are highlights.
General Information
- Minimum 2 pax – Maximum 56 pax
- Children under 12 pay ½ price, under 5 are free
- Excursions run in the morning, lunchtime and at sunset
- Refreshments are served on one of the islands on the river, then the safari continues afterwards
Excursion Includes
- National Park Fees
- Light meals and / or snacks depending on the excursion.
- Mineral water, soft drinks, selected beers, tea and coffee.
- Return transfers from hotels within Livingstone
What you need to bring
- Camera
- Hat/Cap, sunglasses
- Sunscreen and mosquito repellent
- Warm jacket during winter
Pick up times from Hotel/ Lodge:
- Breakfast safari - 08h00 returning at ±10h30
- The lunch safari - 11h30 returning at ±14h00
- Sunset safari 15h30 returning at ±18h00 (winter time – May to July)
- 16h00 returning at ±18h30 (summer time – August to April)
- NB – Drop off is at the Royal Livingstone Hotel Sun Deck
